The 6^th International Conference on "Optical and Photoelectric Phenomena in Semiconductor Micro and Nano Structures" has started at the Fergana Polytechnic Institute.

Participants from more than 10 countries took part in the conference, and they were welcomed in a cheerful spirit.

At first, the first vice-rector of the university Sh. Dekhkanov read out the wishes of the rector of the institute U. Salomov and declared the conference open.
