The 2nd forum of rectors of Uzbekistan-Tajikistan higher education institutions is taking place. The rector of Fergana Polytechnic Institute, Uktam Salomov, is actively participating in this forum.

More than 50 agreements, memoranda of understanding and road maps were signed between the higher educational institutions of the countries at the end of the plenary session of the forum.

Within the framework of the forum, the rector of our institute, U. Salomov, signed a memorandum on the establishment of beneficial cooperation in all areas with the National University of Tajikistan.

In the memorandum, the academic exchange of teachers and students with this university, the organization of mutual educational processes in higher and professional education, professional development of professors and teachers, exchange of experience, internships, scientific conferences, dissertation defense it is envisaged to establish and develop cooperation in the areas of participation in the work of the councils, publication of articles by scientists of the two countries in scientific journals, and participation in joint scientific projects
