An open dialogue was organized in the small meeting hall of the Fergana Polytechnic Institute on the topic of "Works performed and strategic plans to increase the scientific potential of the Institute".

In this meeting, S. Ergashev, the head of the scientific and scientific pedagogical staff training department, exchanged opinions on the topic with professors and teachers working at the institute and young independent researchers.

It is known to everyone that the scientific potential of higher education institutions is determined depending on whether the professors-teachers working in them are approved for doctor of philosophy (PhD) and doctor of science (DSc) dissertations in scientific activity and the higher attestation commission receives documents on them. In this case, it is evaluated according to the percentage of the total number of teachers (main staff and internal substitutes) who are working at the Higher Education Institution and have a scientific title and degree.
