On June 11, 2023, in Kuva district of Fergana region, the European Union organized in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program and the Ministry of Agriculture "Supporting the inclusive transition of the agriculture and food sector to the "Green economy" within the framework of the project "Economic knowledge and innovative development of climate-oriented agriculture (EU-AGRIN)" "Application of new cotton varieties suitable for the soil and climate conditions of Fergana region, water and resource efficient technologies and against pests" project presentation was held on the topic of "introduction of coordinated combat measures".

Professors and teachers of the Faculty of Light Industry and Textiles of the Fergana Polytechnic Institute, a member of the Cotton Innovation Group, participated in the presentation of the projects. During the presentation, information was provided on the purpose, tasks and effectiveness of the project.
